Wedding flowers are an important part of the décor and sets the mood for the day.  Many brides are using more flowers at the reception and more simple arrangements at the church.  If you have a particular flower in mind, check with your florist to see if it is available.  Some flowers like peonies or tulips are only available for a short season. Perhaps your florist can suggest another flower that is similar in order to keep the same style you are after.  

Also if you want accent your décor with colour ask your florist/decorator to see what flowers are can be used in that shade or tone.   Traditional flowers are roses but hydrangeas and mini callas are very popular with brides.  Wedding flowers can add a splash of colour, look great in pictures, dress up a reception, or add elegance for the bride but most of all they make your day memorable.
